I get to meet OSC!

This Saturday Orson Scott Card is going to be in Columbia, and Dad and I are going! I'm sooo excited--OSC is on my list of authors whose brains I want to pick. I won't have time to do so, unfortunately--just getting my copy of Ender's Game signed, and maybe getting to talk to him a little--but still! I get to meet Orson Scott Card! *hyperhyperexcitedhyper*

Also, Missa's designing me a crochet blog, so all my crocheting stuff (and other crafty stuff, I suppose) can go on there. Making Magic, it's called. Very wonderful. I've seen some of what she's done for it, and it's wonderful. Don't worry, though; I have no intention of abandoning "A Whisper from the Shadows." I'm attatched to this one. I'm seriously considering redoing the layout, and some of the random crap in my sidebar needs to go, but I love this blog. It's like a good friend, you know?

Oh my gods, I just remembered. Missa is going to start selling patterns on her blog! She has the free ones still (all the ones from before, simple stuff, CrochetMe patterns), but some of the new ones (the llama, the newsboy hat) are going to be for sale. Go Melissa! She really is that good. Check her out. Too Many Hooks is really great, and she is absolutely amazing.
